Buckingham Palace released a new statement ahead of Prince Harry’s UK visit for NGN trial
Buckingham Palace issued a new statement after Prince Harry debunked rumours that he was offered accommodation at the Buckingham Palace.
According to People Magazine, Harry will miss the first day of his trial against News Group Newspapers (NGN), the publisher of The Sun.
The report revealed that the Duke of Sussex would arrive in the UK in February as he is scheduled to testify in court then.
They added that the reports that he was offered accommodation at the Palace during his upcoming visit to the UK were false.
As per the publication, the Duke also debunked reports claiming he would receive “limited police protection” during his stay in the country.
Meanwhile, the Royal family dropped a new statement with details of Queen Camilla’s latest appearance at the University of Aberdeen.
Their statement accompanying Camilla’s photos at the University read, “As Chancellor of the University of Aberdeen, The Queen has visited the university’s Sir Duncan Rice Library to hear more about the programmes supported by the university for the local community.”
During the visit, Her Majesty was introduced to students and staff involved in the university’s online PGDE primary education course, which is designed to widen access to anyone in Scotland who wishes to obtain a teaching qualification but is unable to attend ‘on campus’ learning,” they added.
“The Queen also spoke to students who run and take part in a student support focused cooking club called the ‘Savy Students Club’. With support from the University of Aberdeen Development Trust Student Experience Fund, the club teaches students to cook healthy and nutritious meals while taking into account financial challenges.
“Her Majesty met supporters and volunteers of the Aberdeen Football Club Community Trust which works within the Aberdeenshire community.
“The Trust, established in 2014, works across schools in Aberdeen to tackle the impact of child poverty, reduce social isolation and improve mental wellbeing by using the power of football and supporters’ passion for Aberdeen Football Club.”
